This is yet another of my growing collection of Star Wars FanArt. I'm not a particularly big fan of Star Wars, but my darling daughter is, and she requested this character after I painted Darth Vader and Kit Fisto.For those of you keeping score, Shaak Ti is a Jedi who is brutally killed by General Grievous in a deleted scene from Revenge of the Sith. Oddly enough, they retained her grisly end for the Lego Star Wars game.
This is watercolour, 9" by 12".

Thank you so much! I worked pretty hard on this one - I have a little trouble getting reds to layer well, so I was pleasantly surprised by how well this turned out. ^_^

I'm not really sure - she got all excited about the Kit Fisto I did for her, but Shaak Ti is her favourite character. I think it's perhaps just her "teeagerness".

I thought we went over the fact that Shaak Ti didn't die? She goes into exile and hangs out on Felucia. I don't know how she managed to do it, but The Force Unleashed comes out in September so we'll find out then. I could've sworn that I showed you the screenshot of her.

The Lego Star Wars people and George Lucas didn't really communicate very well when they were making the game, apparently. George Lucas was originally going to have her killed in the movie, but cut it out at the last second. The Lego Star Wars people were never made aware of this, so...yeah. Her death is considered to be non-canon.

Oh, but I'd have thought that the stuff in the script would be more canon than not. So taking the scene out rendered it non-canon?

I'm not a Star Wars girl - in fact, I'm teased by my Dungeons-and-Dragons-playing, cello-toting, pocket-protector-wearing friends because I've never actually seen Star Wars. Or Lord of the Rings. But that's beside the point.
But being unfamiliar with the character, I thought it was some sort of ceremonial, tribal makeup from some remote island or something! :*)
Which would have been wicked sweet. But this is cool, too.

Anytime. haha. you have to see it to know exactly what i mean. Have you ever seen devil cats? search it on youtube or something and theres these videos of cats that are like devils. But some of them are mean and they only act like that cos they've been traumatized. Poor cats. My cat, garnet, is not like that but its still bad. lol. she's only 6-7 months old.
