Description Mellowydd, known affectionately as Wydd, had his origins in the enchanting surroundings of the North Pole. Born to Lymseia, an aspiring wassail brewmistress, during a New Year's festival, Wydd's early life was marked by the festive spirit and the promise of culinary delights. Lymseia, entranced by the magic of the North Pole and entwined in a romantic engagement, decided to settle and pursue her passion for brewing under the guidance of one of the Pole's brewmasters.

Given the customary time for elves to focus on their trade and aptitudes, Lymseia made a unique decision. To allow her the freedom to dedicate herself to her craft, she entrusted the care of her son to his father, Sandan, the foreman of the North Pole. Thus, Wydd became a child raised in the bustling environment of Thrymheimr, surrounded by factory workers, hearth-brother Bleisnickel, and the guidance of Panacea, the house baker.

As Wydd matured, he felt the call to embark on a journey of culinary exploration. Setting out on an eighteen-year adventure, Wydd traveled far and wide, from the realms of Jörd and the Fae Realm to exotic destinations like the Gem Homeworld, the Dream Realm, Helheim, Asgard, Olympus, and even culinary meccas on Earth. However, the call to return home grew strong when the Council of Gods threatened Earth's great cities.

Upon his return to the North Pole, Wydd found his place in the kitchen. Fueled by his diverse culinary experiences, he offered his skills to Panacea, using an opportunity to land an apprenticeship as her assistant. The position was meant to be temporary, but Wydd's talents soon shone through, earning him a reputation as a skilled chef. When the house chef resigned, leaving the kitchen in need of a leader, Wydd faced an audition process guided by Sandan and Niko.

The audition, while grueling, fueled Wydd's determination. Sandan's directive to "cut the meat, not corners" resonated deeply. In the face of challenges and competition, Wydd's passion and culinary virtuosity propelled him to the coveted role of the house chef at Thrymheimr, securing his place as a cornerstone in the heart of the North Pole's culinary delights.
