Yet another whimsical abstract realism piece! This time I went for much paler colors to keep the mood harmonic. I had originally planned to use a much brighter purple (think: Tai Lung inspired), but when I was actually painting I decided to keep it very light so it still reads as snow. I still think a darker purple would look cool, but it would be a bit disruptive and give the painting a totally different feel.

I plan to make a sister piece with a very dark theme to contrast the lightness of this one. I think they’ll look super good as a pair!
