I find that I have done pretty well on etsy. Β I think a lot of it has to do with your own advertising/ using social media to your advantage to get the word out about your work. Β I am confident that almost all my sales are thanks to referrals from here or tumblr. Β Hope that's helpful. Β Good Luck!

did you use any sort of finish to make sure the paint wont start to come off? I have been wanting to do this to a pair of shoes. Sere the shoes originally white or did they have a pattern?

Shoes are white and yes I put a finish on them for shine and scuff protection
