Description
This is Denali, my young fennec/red fox boy. I had fun making the padding to change my body shape for this one (widened shoulders and got rid of the hour glass figure.)Denali is my first full suit. He's actually a compilation of Jax Bat's work (head and tail), and my own work (body, padding, hands, feet, eye remake).
I forget who took this shot (If you did, please let me know so I can credit!).
Costume belongs to Katie Mathew, please do not alter or reproduce this shot.

This is a pretty darn good fox. I don't see many ears like that.

I'm not taking any commission work anymore, and the original maker of the head doesn't take commissions anymore either. I do offer the occasional piece on my etsy account. Send me a note for more info if you're interested.

I believe I ordered everything from CR's Crafts, but it was years ago. I know they no longer make the long pile red fox color.

Experimentation is key! Don't be afraid to try to find your own answers or make your own techniques. That is the absolute best advice I can give. That and poke around in the memories section of "fursuit" on LiveJournal.

The head is carved foam on a balaclava base. I made the eyes with sealed white foamies, buckam, and prismacolor pencils. Thanks!

Hehe. <3 This is sort of an odd situation, as it's built by two different people. Jax did the head and tail, then I reworked the eyes (with his permission), and made the hands/feet/body.
