if i were going to add more to this, what should it be? i meant to pass it off as a concept piece, but it's a bit too simplistic... or no?

a little simplistic, if you wanna go full out, more mountainous like features in the bg, birds flying about maybe? depending one what your concept is exactly, you could incorportate other elements ( like a tiny human sillouette in the forground for size comparison, or some other object then rock and clouds)
tiny trees, crashed plane, golden gates, ship wrecked bones
take whatever suites your idea
(personally, since i feel like this is some image pullout of a heavenly realm- i'd throw in some flighty figures in the back coalescing around the pinnical be it frilly angels or tiny dragonflys)

all fantastic suggestions. the speckling of birds will be an easy and hugely improving touch, and the detail figures for scale - both at the top and in the fore, would be utterly captivating. i intend to take up your suggestions verbatim. the only hump is actually opening the damn file, converting it to .psd, taking it into PS and starting! it wouldn't take more than half an hour, yet somehow i know i'll half-consciously sabotage the undertaking. resolve! some ideas are too good to not attend.
