Description A long time ago, the founder of the Disney company (Walt Disney) was all about family. He even said: "The most important thing is family. A man should never neglect family for business." Even after his death in 1966, it still held true.

Sadly in the 2010s, Disney today isn't like that. For those who've already heard, it's most likely old news by now. But for those who haven't heard, Disney did something kind of recently that's...pretty scummy. When a child died, his dad wanted to put an image of Spiderman on his son's grave, since his son was inspired by Spiderman. Then Disney's like, "Nope, can't do it. It'll ruin our business." So...what, you don't want to fulfill a dead kid's wish to have Spiderman on his grave because it's bad for business? This is a reason why corporatism is slowly poisoning Disney.

Also, Disney did not create Spiderman. It was actually the late Stan Lee (may he rest in peace) who created Spiderman; Disney only bought the company that Spiderman belongs to.

Right now, I imagine that both Walt Disney and Stan Lee are rolling in their graves because of this. And because of this stunt, I'm losing plenty of respect for the company that's inspired people for generations.

I heard about this and it's such a shame. Clearly whoever's in charge of Disney these days only cares about money.

True. And as I said earlier, ol' Walt himself must be spinning in his grave at this.
