Wow, nice work. One question, though... "MADE IS AUSTRIA"?

Great job, the only flaws I see are the trigger assembly pin and backstrap system are missing.

You used 3DSMax or Blender?

Both, Blender to made the model and UV map it, 3DSMax to render it

why not just do all the work in 3Ds MAX?

I can't stand the controls of 3Ds, how anyone manages to model anything with it I don't know. Blenders controls are 1000x better

I guess it's a personal preference. I've started my 3D "career" with 3Ds MAX9. Every year MAX gets better and better and more convenient. Especially when they added Graphite Modelling Tools in MAX12 (2010).
I tried Blender once. It was so epicly inconvenient and confusing that I just literally sent it to hell and deleted it
Blender is not for professionals anyway. All major film and game companies primarily use MAX and Maya. #1 file format that sells on TurboSquid is also .max The choice of plug-ins and rendering engines is also a lot broader for Autodesk's products (I think you could agree with me on this one - after all, you ARE using MAX to render your models...)
So I'll just stick with MAX

By the way, I still have this old Jewel-Case with MAX3 in it xD

You know I spent a good 10 hours modeling with 3Ds and I just didn't like the fact you had to rely on the program so much, almost like you have to ask it politely to function. With Blender there are no building aids, guides or anything else to make life easier. It's a mouse, a keyboard and skill that produces results. I've yet to find another program which can match Blenders precision either.

As for blender not being for professionals I think you are mistaken there. Blender can export models, animations and UV maps to any file type (which is how I get models into 3Ds to render them). The method of modeling is irrelevant, It's all about results baby and I get results

I guess. But 3Ds MAX being #1 3D software package in the world dating waay before any C4D or Blender or whatsoever must mean something

Ya, It would be pretty cool if I could marry an awesome gun design, an awesome pistol company, and an actual human being.

only crit would be that you could have given the "hole above the trigger" some more polygons, for it to flow better with the smoothness of the rest of the model
other than that i must say its brilliant and looking really slick
