Fun fact: I used to take karate when I was younger and put those skills to good use in kindergarten against two jerks Got held back because of it 😂😂

Headcanon that the reason Jessica Wright took a heavy interest in karate is because when she was younger, she heard about how her famous cousin, Billy Joe Cobra, mastered such an advanced skill, earned a suede belt, and then won a trophy in a tournament. She really wanted to be really good at something, too (possibly to try and outshine Spencer's vastly improving movie-making and SFX talents).

So when Billy next came to visit her and her big brother, Jess begged him to teach her what he knew and he gladly obliged. He was very happy to get a chance to bond with his youngest cousin since they didn't as much as he and Spencer does. This carried on for years until her parents made enough money to enroll her in actual karate classes, shortly before Billy's mysterious demise. While Jess eventually found out that a suede-belt didn't really exist and that Billy won it because his instructors were just kissing up to him since he's a famous rock-star, it didn't deter her in the least and she continued to work hard until she earned her black-belt and became the best in her class.

Honestly, I just wanted an excuse to draw Billy and Jess doing something together since it's a shame they don't have any interaction in the show and I thought it be cute to see them bond. ;v;

Sensei Cobra is my 2nd favorite outfit after Cheer!Billy. It's very aesthetically pleasing to me, especially how he's drawn and animated It first appeared in "Billy Do Joe" and made reappearances in "Billy Blob", "Ghost Mascot", and "Billy's Achilles". I love that his ghost version of it includes a wicked beard and bushy eyebrows.
