Personality: When he enlisted in the Fire Nation navy, Mouk was cocky and quickly made his way through the ranks. After his injury and recovery he did not talk much, was reserved and uses fishing/clamming/crabbing as a therapy.
History: Mouk was born the third child and only firebender of Miki and Zhuizo. He spent a great deal of time learning firebending with his father as a child. Being different from the rest of his family, he joined the Fire Nation Navy after having a hard time learning in school. Starting as a simple sailor, Mouk persevered through the tedious days in the Navy and by the time war broke out between the Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom, he had achieved the rank of Captain. Mid-way through the war, Mouk's ship was engaged in a battle with Earth Kingdom forces, and while he was standing on the deck of his ship he was grazed on the left side of his head with a flaming cannonball, nearly killing him.

A month later Mouk awoke in the hospital, but he had been permanently scarred both mentally and physically. The contact with the cannonball cause a damage to part of his brain that dealt with higher level functions, as well as reasoning. Because of this he would attack everyone who was near him, he would also rape as he pleased. He was like this for several years until someone knocked him in the head and took him to prison. There he was declared insane, and put in the asylum. While in the asylum he was silent for many years, trying to accept what he had done uncontrollably. It was not until the nurse who brought him his meals was switched to Pema did he finally begin to speak. She and him talked about what they liked, favorite smells, sights. The biggest thing he missed was the ocean.

After years in the asylum, Mouk was declared ready to be released on good behavior. His aunt and uncle took him in allowed him to stay with them, and he grew closer to Pema, visiting her regularly. Months later he asked her to marry him, and she agreed. They got married and moved to the Earth Republic, where the fishing was better. There he made wage for his family by catching and selling seafood at the market.
