Description ~Facilitate~

Sniper woke up early that morning, the dog tags he had hidden were keeping him from sleeping. The sun was slowly rising to welcome the light of a new day. The clock across the van read 5:30 am. For the next five minutes he remained staring into the blank ceiling. He mind open to nothing other than a break to relax. Realizing that wasn’t going to happen he crept out of the warm bed leaving the Spy alone for a while. He removed the tags from beneath the mattress and examined them again. As he held the two tags, he noticed that the chain was broken. It slid through the holders and clattered to the ground like a snake. He picked it up off the ground discovering specks of red on parts of the chain. He identified it as blood, telling him that the previous owner of the necklace would often get into fights. He put the chain in his pocket and turned his attention to the tags. Now in the sunlight, he could read the print stamped onto the metal.
Name: Andre-
A bullet must have hit the plate making the rest of the name unreadable.
Age: 19
ID #: 092097
The other read “Freedom” in a bold font across the metal. The Sniper wanted to decipher what the rest of the name was but was stop by the sound of sheets moving. He looked over to the bed where the Spy was at. To his relief, he wasn’t awaking yet he was moving. This puzzled Sniper for a moment before. He put down the item a walked over to check up on him. He then noticed that the Spy wasn’t moving but his body was changing.
The Sun had risen, bathing the camper in sunlight. Naturally the Spy was changing back to his normal self.  He didn’t seem to be in pain as he was going into his transformation, seeing how he remained asleep. No, this was reversed, painless and welcomed. Sniper watched over the Spy, witnessing the animal-like features disappear and becoming more human.
The claws silently retracted back to nails as well as the fangs that peeked out from his mouth, returned to normal teeth.  The sharp wolf-like ears morphed themselves back to look more human. The small muzzle slowly returned itself back to resemble a person’s face rather than an animal’s. The dark silky coat of fur that covered his body disappeared from view as it appeared to grow backwards. The transformation was slow and constant leaving the half naked Spy back in his normal form. He remained sleeping, unbothered by the transformation that had just taken place.
The Sniper kneeled down beside him on the floor, his head and arm resting on the bedside. He gently slid his arm down from the Spy’s head toward his chest, stopping to feel the warm beating of his heart. He cares for him, loves him. They both had been in this war together since he was recruited, but never had he’d been so close. He listened to the Spy’s breathing and felt the drumming of his heart, making his own beat a slow steady pace. He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath, remembering when he was there for the Spy, and when he was there for him. His daydreams were stopped when he hear a calm voice break the silence.
“What is this?” The Spy was smiling at him with the Sniper’s hand still on his bare chest. Sniper blushed with embarrassment, but was comforted when the Spy placed his hand over the Sniper’s. The Sniper pulled away his hand away, the Spy’s hand followed before letting go and slide to the edge of the bed.
“Sorry, I-I didn’t mean t’ wake you up.” He was embarrassed of being caught in his act by the Spy.
“Non, it is fine.” He slowly snaked his arms around the Sniper body sharing it warmth. “Mais, I don’t understand to why you act this way. There’s no need to be shy.” The Sniper took a glance at him then turned his attention away again. This got the Spy curious, wondering if there was something wrong. “Is something the matter?” he asked concernly. The Sniper was silent before he started to move his lips.

“Well, if you want to know…” he paused, in thought of what to say next.

“Go on, I’m listening.”

“It’s just your mask that’s all.”

Obviously the Spy could feel that he didn’t have his mask on him thanks to his curse. So what was he saying about his mask? He went on deeper to know what the Sniper was saying.
“What about it?”

“There’s just something that bothers me when you don’t have on. I know it’s meant to hide your identity, but…” He looked up at the Spy. For a moment the Spy caught a glimpse of something in his eyes. Somewhere between horrified and confused was what he saw before his blinked and resumed its usual look. “You just remind me of something that I feel I  should remember.”

S'perfectly alright. I can be patient for something this good. I write too and I know how it feels to get caught up in life.
But you're absolutely welcome.
