Description ~Covet~

"Vat happened?" Medic pushed aside the crowd of the other teammembers who were gathered around the unconscience Spy.

"I don't know. One second he was fine, t'e next he's lyin' on t'e floor." Sniper quickly explaned while holding the Spy in his arms. The Medic keeled down and took in the scene, trying to piece together the puzzle. But he couldn't ignore the murmmers and whispers happening behind his back.

"Vould you give us zome privicey, please." The Medic politely requested of his team, but with a little annoyance in his tone, which he did not intend to slip out.

"You heard the doc! He said 'please', now get your can into the train!" Soldier was quick to instructed before any smart remarks could be made by the Scout, who was to first to be taken into the train like a little kid by Soldier. The rest of the team followed behind without resisting nor giving any attention to the three in the hall. The area was silent for a while and the Medic resumed his work.

"Hm," he placed his ungloved hand on Spy's visable skin, but he noticed that even the flesh hiding under the mask was raditating a great amount of heat. "He vill need to travel vith you." He removed his hand and replaced the blue rubber glove back over his hand. Soldier then reappeared at the door.

"Do you want me to stay and keep a look out for you?" Soldier spoke in such a quiet and soft voice, it sounded alien to Sniper's ears.

"Nien." Medic replied sharply. He relaxed then exhaled a heavy sigh. "Just stay vith zhe team, I don't vant chaos vhen I board." He began to rumb his temples. The Soldier nodded then disappeared back behind the door.

"You're not coming wit' us?" Sniper asked, confused to why the doctor wouldn't help him with Spy.

"I vould like to help Spy, but I need to insure zhat his secret is safe. Ve don't vant rumorz spreading zhat vould hint his condition." The muffled yells between Soldier and Scout could be heard from within the train. Another groan from Medic as he continued examining Spy. "Zhat boy doesn't like to zhut up. He's alveady tried convincing the team zhat monsters are inhabiting zhe zewers." Sniper fell silent. "Vhich, I have to admit, came to be half true. I've tried searching for zhat creature in zhe zewers but never found anyzhing." He pulled out a small flashlight and shown it infront of Spy's eye. He paused when he realized the Sniper next to him was turn pale. "Iz everyzhing alright?" Sniper blinked for a moment before focusing his attention on Medic.

"Yeah, yeah," he tried changing the subject from something other than his experience with the 'sewer monsters.'"Is there something going on with you and Soldier?" He instantantly regretted letting those words leave his mouth. "Not t'at I'm inferring t' anything! He just seems more 'calm' around you." The Medic didn't make eye contact with him and turned off the flashlight.

"It iz nozhing to vorry about." He got back up in his feet. "He'll be fine. Give him zome rest in your camper and he should be bet'er." The train's horn blew and the Heavy called out for the Medic from the door. "I'll zee you at Coldfront." He quickly ran to the train as its engine started up. The Medic closed the car's door behind him ending the commotion of his teammates voices. In a matter of seconds, the train was already in motion, moving away from the base at a steady pace. Sniper picked up the Spy's weak body and carried him to his van just outside the base.

"Don't worry, mate. I'll take care of you." He told the Spy, even though he knew that he couldn't hear him, but still felt the need to comfort him. He fumbled with the door's handle but still managed to get it to open. He carefully laid the Spy on the bed and even took delivery of taking off the Spy's shoes. He placed the black shoes to the side of the bed and decided to fluff up the pillow for his head.

Before leaving, he paused, remembering what he had taken from what the enemy Spy left. It still confused him to why the Red Spy would've done that, but he was sure the tags were for Spy, they were 'placed' on his clothes. He pulled the tags out from his pocket. They played their cheerful chime as the two plates collided with eachother. He took the chain and gently pulled it over the Spy's head then around his neck. He hid the tags behind his white button-up shirt to insure that their sound wouldn't bother him.

It felt... odd. Giving dogtags usually worn by a Scout, to a Spy, that were delievered to them by an enemy. He knows they weren't harmful because he had them on him for quite a while. He would've been dead by now if they did hold some sort of danger, unlike the mask inncedient. But none of this was making sense and he wasn't sure if it ever would. He took another glance over his shoulder at the Spy that laid quietly on the bed. Noting his long and slender body, peacefully at rest along the sheets.

"Sleep toight, mate." He sofly smiled but still held a small amount of worry for the Spy. He finally left the room, lightly closing the door and to the front of the van. The train was now barely visable but the trail of smoke it left behind could still be seen in the distance. He started up the engine and quickly, yet carefully, drove the van from the rugged dirt path to the paved asphalt road.

The road followed along side with the tracks, then later deverged from them. It them took him to astonishing landformations that in a way, reminded him of his home. This only made the Sniper crave for the Spy even more, usually feeling at ease when he  was around. But that was possible at the moment and he contined down the long road.
