Description
After reading that note, I felt a little sad. I decided to take a

walk outside my room. Miss Pauling was in the hall and walked up to

me.

"You okay sweetie?" She asked concerned.

"A little bit." I muttered, my eyes trailed to the floor.

"What's the matter?" She gently placed her hand on my shoulder.

"nothing"

"Okay." She sighed and dropped here hand. "If you need me I'll be in

the room." She point to a door that was a few steps away from where

she was standing. "Okay?"

"Sure." I picked up my head then turned around back to my room. I

heard her footsteps walk away then the closing of a door. As I

neared my door, I reached for the knob when suddenly I heard...

movement. It sounded like someone was inside my room. I paused,

listening to the sounds. I slowly and quietly reached for my weapon.

Weapon in hand I readied myself. I reached out for the knob again,

tightly grasping it. I took in a quick breathe and jurked the door

open in an instant.

"What the?" I lowered my weapon away from the familiar face.

"Christ?"

"...Hey."

"What are you doing here?" I said annoyed replacing my weapon.

"Well, I came to see you."

"You need to go back inside, it's daytime. You'll get burned."

"I know but," He rumbed his shoulder shyly. "I want to fight too."

"I know but remeber, you can't control yourself."

"Oh yeah. I remember..." He muttered then made his way out. I felt

sorry for him but it was for his own safety. I don't want him to get

hurt. I felt I should apologize to him if I was being to harsh. I

tailed behind but once I left the room I saw another figure in the

hallway.

"Hey!" I yelled at the mirror image getting her full attention. She

looked at me then smiled.

"So," She waltz her way down the hall to where I was standing "we

meet again."

"You're asking for a beating." I taughted when she was standing just

a few feet away.

"Bring it." She gladly accepted the duel. I was the first to move,

then she followed right behind.

Christ was outside sitting in the safety of a shadow. He leaned back

against the concrete walls thinking. Suddenly an idea came across

his mind. He ran back inside, down the empty halls to the Medic's

room.

"Medic, can you do me a favor?" The man was cleaning out some metal

instruments, mostly likely for surgery. He turned around and put the

metal pieces down.

"Vhat is it you need?"

"Can you make me human?"

"Vhat?!" The Medic was not expecting to be asked of such a request.

His face was puzzled to why he would want to become human. Their was

nothing special about it.

"Make me human so I can fight." The Medic's was now more stunned but

not for his reason. It would be good to have extra help on the team

on the battlegrounds but...

"Zhat's possible but vould take me 24 hours to formulate a

solution." Christ shot him an icy glare.

"Do it now..."

The final swing of my sword was what ended the fight with my clone.

I managed to be at just the right angle above her. I brougt down my

sword and it slid directly down her body.

"Hell yeah! Take that!" I quicky regained my breath and went to the

Medic. I had taken some damage that would be needing some treatment.
I looked throught the grided glass on the door to see Christ and the

Medic. "What are you doing?!" I choked.

"Isn't this great?" Christ said cheerfully smiling. He extended his

arms out as if asking for a hug.

"What's so great?" I asked unsure and scared for what he mean't.

"I can be a human, like you." He said eagerly but I knew that their

was something wrong about that. I would like to have Christ happy

like this and enjoy being human but...

"Christ, being a human can be difficult for you. Your human form

might not work out."

"Heh, we'll see." He said after seeing Medic complete the formula.

He injected the liqid into Christ arm for a moment nsothing seemed

to happen but then, where the shot was taken, he skin started to

turn a lively peach color. His fangs and claws shrank into the

normal size of a humans and his usual pointed, pale ears became warm

colored and lost their sharp tip. "It worked!" He delightfully

exclaimed. "It really worked." He turned to Medic and gave him a

great warm hug. "Thanks doc."

"Heheheh..." Medic wasn't really sure what to say. He had just

transformed a vampire into a human. "No problem." Christ let him go

then ran out to show the rest of the team his transformation.

"Hey everyone!" The mummers of the team stopped and turned their

heads. "Come over here!" The team walked over, wonder what was so

exciting to him. It didn't take them long to notice that his pale

skin was now tinted with a warm living flesh color and that his

sharp fangs and claw were not as visable as before.

"Woah!" Scout exclaimed wide eyed. "What happen to you?"

"What in the name-" Soldier couldn't complete his sentence. He was

lost for words and didn't know how to describe him as well as Spy,

who only could manage a 'what' escape his mouth.

"Wow, you look...Peachy." Heavy's low and rough voice followed

behind the other two's but prove to be gentle and a little lost for

words as well.

"Yeah I know, but can you believe it. Medic was able to make me

human." The entire team was completely lost for words and only

examined Christ from head to toe. He was human. Medic has really out

done himself for such a task. But Medic and I knew that one of us

had to give him the down side to this effect.

"Christ I need to tell you about this human form."

"Sure." He replied so happily. I didn't want to hurt his feelings or

anything so I decided to take it slow and gentle.

"Your human form won't last forever." His bright smile start to

fade.

"What do you mean?"

"I'm saying that this would only be in effect for about five hours."

"What!" I felt a surge of emotion travel through me. "That can't be.

It has to be more than a few hours!" He cried out. He couldn't take

it for very long and flew off out of my sight.

"Uh... Did he just fly?" Scout pointed out after witnessing the

event.

"Yeah, he's still a vampire. Vampires can fly, remember?"

"Um, not really." Scout looked dumpfounded and confused.

I felt sorry for Christ. I went down the hall grabbing a packet of

blood Medic had stored. Since the medigun and respawn, he had no

need of the blood. I took a good sized packet out the fridge. It was

cool, heavy and was a deep red almost black color. I took it to

Christ and gave it to him inside his room.

"Here you go. Your body will need this." I held out the blood to

him, now that he was over his human form from last night and calmed

down.

"Thanks." He took the packet and sank his fangs into the bag. He

drained it clean and clear leaving no red spots behind. Medic has

began making copies of the solution if Christ ever wanted to be

human again. I let him be and went to check up on Medic with the

clones. I entered the room and saw the fully developed clones, still

sleeping in there glass containers.

"Wow, she's a lot like me." I looked at one of the clone's face to

see my own face in the glass.

"Vell zhey are clones." Medic chuckled lightly before straighting

his face again. "But right now, or vhen zhey vake up, zhey vill need

a test."

"Okay" I took another moment to examine the clones. Each one was

identical to the other. After that, I left the room and wanted to do

something else. I walked out the hall then kicked something on the

floor. The object rolled infront of me with a light rolling sound

then came to a stop a few feet ahead. It was a crystal tied to a

string like a pendant or necklace. I carefully picked it up and it

started glowing a bright bluish color. I felt a strange, unfamiliar

power flow through me. I didn't know what it was, I felt as if I was

flying. Then I noticed that I was flying, or floating. "Wow. I can

fly? I can fly! Awsome!" I flew around the area and somehow quickly

gathered a crowd.

"How on Earth-!"
"Crikey." I heard Scout and Sniper's voice call from the end of the

hall. I stopped and saw both of them as well as the rest of the team

run down the hall towards me.

"Where did you find zhat?" Spy asked pointing at the crystal in my

hand to make himself clear to what he was referring to.

"I found it on the floor."

"Little girl has power?!" Heavy's voice roared through the crowd and

placed both of his hands on either side of his face. He reminded me

of the famous painting titled "The Scream."

During the next battle I still wore the crystal. I was paired up

with Soldier then. Something shot at me from the side were an open

window was but an invisable shield deflected the object. A Sniper's

bullet landed on the floor with a light clatter.

"Hell yeah, I rule!" I yelled as if I just won the winning point in

a sports competion.

"Maggot, stop that right now. You are going to give us away."

Soldier scold at me.

"Oh yeah?" I felt so impower compared to Soldier. "Make me."

Suddenly without my thought's approval another form of words slipped

out of my mouth. "I have evil powers inside me that you can not

imagen." I snapped out of it and realized what I just said. "Where

did that come from?" I looked at Soldier, who was not impressed.

"Get down and give me 20." He commanded.

"What? But we're in the enemy base-"

"Nooow."

The battle raged on. I seperated from the Solly after repeatly

getting caught and left him on his own. I was now at the front lines

holding the Blu's back. I wanted to use the crystal's power to wipe

them out clean from the battlefield, but from my experice with

Soldier I knew it would be too dangerous. I stuck with my weapons

and started killing off most of the Blu's. I suddenly got that

feeling, you know that one feeling you get when you feel something

isn't right but don't know it. Turned around just in time to dodge

an oncoming attack from an enemy clone.

"Hey." I greeted the clone. She was standing about a meter from

where I was.

"Hello to you too." She had an evil smile planted to her face then

charged and made her second move. She stopped inches from my face

before falling over. Blood drained out from her head, the silent

bullet from Sniper got this point.

"Hm, looks like your already dead." I turned around and found the

barrel of a gun resting on my forehead.

"Any last words." The Blu Spy spoke in his smooth tone of betrayal.

"W-what happen? I thought you've changed?"

"Yes," he ajusted his blue silk tie "I lied." He tighten his finger

around the trigger. I had no choice but to the crystal's power.

There was a bright light, forcing the Blu to cover his eyes. Once

the light faded the Spy wasn't standing, he laid motionless on the

ground. A stream of blood ran out for his mouth and trailed down

from his lips to the floor. I felt that power again and I liked it.

"Yes...Yes! Yes! All the power's inside of me. I can feel it!

Heheheh." My light giggle turned into an insane dark laugh. Sniper

look up from his scope and saw the crystal's power in use. It was

changing me, taking control of me and he knew that. He ran down from

his perch to the group of his team.

"Everyone." He panted, out of breathe and scaried. "There's, there's

something wrong."

"What is it?" Scout said alerted.

"It's Candace. She's in trouble."

"Oh no." Scout grabbed his hat and twisted it. "It's dat crystal."

"Vell have to make a plan in order to remove it." Medic joined in

then started to discuss the plan. The team all gathered around to

hear in on it. At the end of the discussion they a cheered and

shouted together as a team.

"No one will stop me! No one!" I cried out from behind. The team

quickly took cover and scattered. Scout however didn't.

"Who dares to interupt me?!" I shrieked in anger, overflowing in

power and rage.

"I did." Scout jumped up to the top of a nearby building being equil

height with myself. I was enraged by his annoyance and disrespect

towards me. I shot a beam of light at him but he dodged it. I tried

again and he jumped off the building and safely landed on the

ground. I tried to get him but he was too fast. He ran around me,

taughting me and getting be more angery.

I was so caught up with Scout that I hadn't kept an eye on the

others. Scout stop and stood still, finally, but before I shot him

he point a finger to the sky. I looked up and saw Sniper aimed at

me. He fired, piercing the crystal off my neck. Everything was lost,

and became unfocused. I was lossing my power. I flew from the air an

down to the ground. Sniper jumped off and grabbed me landing on his

feet. I hide my face deep within his chest.

"You okay, mate?" He asked kindly. I slowly peaked my face out from

him. Tears flowed from my eyes and stained my face.

"I-I'm so sorry." He held me closier and rocked be back and forth

like a young scaried child.

"Sshhh, it's okay." He spoke in his deep, soft voice. "It's okay."

Scout was seeing the sight infront of him. He was scaried that he

would lose Candace. His eyes started to sting the a tear fell from

his eye. He wiped it away quickly but not fast enough for nobody to

notice.

"Are you...Crying?" Spy asked leaned over Scout's shoulder to were

the tear fell.

"N-no! I got some'ding in my eye." He wiped away more tears from his

eyes. Spy found it quite amusing about how bad Scout could lie. I

calmed down and found my own strength to apologize to the rest of

the team. My reward was a warm group hug, everyone has accepted my

apologie but mostly adored the love that they had for me.
