Description
Finally started my Hornby Percy conversion, I cut out the entire saddle tank and replaced it with one taken from my old Hornby Smokey Joe, also replaced his funnel with Smokey Joe's too, used bits of plasticard to fill in the gaps under the saddle tank and to make the smokebox supports, the bunker railings have been cut off to be replaced with ones made from wire and the cylinders and valve gear were taken from a Dapol Prairie Tank Model Kit and cut up to fit on the chassisI'll get around to painting soon

You could find yourself a Bachmann 9F matching the same version as murdoch does, repaint it and make a face to stick on the smokebox door.
