oh man, i do not envy Karkat's position right now. I mean being in a slasher situation is one thing, but being in a slasher with not one but two blind people? That's not even fair. (i mean, Terezi is far from useless, but still, it's the principal)

In all seriousness, though, I really like this. The fade-to-black effect definitely helps emphasize the creepiness and darkness of the lab, and it also brings the focus to the three trolls in the middle. I adore all of their expressions. 
Also Gamzee and his slightly visible smile are a fantastic touch.
Which leads me to wonder...when Gamzee's walking or sitting or whatever in Homestuck post-shit-flipping, and there are honk. HONK. sound effects...does he constantly have a horn with him that he honks or is he SAYING "honk. HONK."? It's probably more likely that both are true, but w/e.Because in my opinion, it'd be faaar more scary to hear a crazy murderous clown's voice saying the same thing all the damn time.

Gamzee's probably always going HONK honk HONK honk HONK honk, since it's alternating just as much as his text. I don't even know if he has any more horns, ever since he abandoned his horn pile.

That's true. He's pretty much been horn-deep in scary shit taking place on a suspicious asteroid. So I'm prepared to see that face until a) he has a first-hand experience of Gamzee's insanity and therefore changes his expression to terrified (of which we've most likely seen a little), or b) the end of Homestuck when he gets a happy ending (it has to happen!). Karkat can never catch a break. :'c
Yeah, he probably does go around whispering/screaming honk. But in the flashes Seek the Highb100d and the 3x SHOWDOWN COMBO, there are clearly a crapton of honks from horns, so I'm thinking that he's still got quite a few horns scattered throughout the lab.
