"... KK?"
"KK... Talk to me, I don't want to have to reach out and f--"
A sudden, choked sob stopped Sollux Captor, as the now-blind prophet stood in front of his best friend, Karkat Vantas. The two had been running around for the last few minutes, trying to find somewhere... safe. Or, at least, safer than sitting around in the ectobiology room and waiting to die. And when Terezi cut off when talking to Sollux, it gave Karkat enough of a reason to dash toward the computer room as soon as possible. Though the intrepid leader had been leading Sollux around by hand for those few minutes, he had suddenly stopped and let go. Now Sollux knew why.
"Oh- oh god..." Karkat murmured, holding back on another sob.
Sollux seemingly "stared" at his friend, his eyebrows furrowing. "KK, seriously? You're seriously crying now?" But he didn't receive a response, other than another sign of the troll leader breaking down. "KK... Come on, stop. I can't see without you. Don't start weeping now."
"..."
"...KK?"
Karkat let out another sob, though it wasn't held back this time. He was legimately crying now.
"...KK! Stop crying!" Sollux demanded, and he tried to give a glare at his friend, though he couldn't tell where he was. "God damn it, do you want us to die faster or something?!"

"Wh-what's the point?!"
Karkat's response surprised Sollux, and he gave a look of confusion. "What? What do you m--"
"N-Nepeta's blood! Her b-blood is on the f-fucking wall! She's dead! And T-Terezi is... she's probably d-dead too! What if everyone else is too?! God damn it, I don't want to die! I don't want to fucking die! I--"

The shocking "SMACK!!" sound that resonated through the hallway shut up Karkat's shouting.
"KK, get a fucking hold of yourself!" Sollux shouted. "Shut the fuck up!"
"..."
Karkat promptly fell silent, as he stared at his friend. Red-tinted tears slid down his face.
"...KK, we're going to get out of this alive. Okay? No one else is going to die. Terezi's fine. So... just... calm down."

"...please. I don't want to hear you cry."
