Okay let me say first that, I really find this art very intriguing. I'm a fan of sci-fi and this artwork looks like a concept for a really cool game or T.V series. I really like how you painted the clouds and the lightning effects. It really adds tension and makes the artwork feel more epic. I can imagine the spaceships read to go at light-speed! Breaking through the clouds and heading to the great beyond. It's just very epic and awesome! However, as much as I like this artwork, I think you could've added more to the drawing. Like in the upper area above the clouds with a shade of more darker blue (because its suppose to be as if the space-crafts or ships are leaving the atmosphere of the planet). And another thing is that you can make some of the white spots a little more faded. I get mixed up with the birds and those white spots, they look slightly similar to each other. But anyways you did a very good job at creating this artwork, and I think this piece deserves the attention it gets. I could use this to get some ideas or a concept that I'll maybe one make. Again, great artwork!

Hey there from Project Comment! This piece really makes me feel like I'm in the scene! The contrast between the hectic lightning storm and the calm sky is brilliant, and I really want to know more about the story behind it. There's a sense of mystery from the ships - where are they going? Are they leaving somewhere- and it seems to look like the future, since the ships look high-tech. The clouds are well defined and I love the way you painted the lightning. The moon/planet in the back gives it a galactic vibe (if that makes sense) too. I feel like there's a bit too many stray particles in the scene however - the sun glare and the ship's glare combined with the moon and lightning kind of lead the eye away, and the extra floating bits of light and the birds make it a bit crowded. Other than that, this piece is really great and there's a really strong story behind it!
