Weekly Sketch #185

Carlos is one of Diego and Estrella's sons. Diego and Estrella appear frequently in my gallery in the early years (2014/2015) if you want to search them there. I wanted to just draw a basic pose to focus more on anatomy and proportion. He looks a little stockier than most Leafeons, and that is intentional. He and his twin brother, Manuel (who will also appear shortly in this series) start a freelance business where they help move heavy things for clients, be it delivering things, packing things, or helping people load things onto moving trucks. I could've drawn him as an Eevee, but I haven't drawn a Leafeon in a long time, and wanted to give that another go. Aside from Manuel, he has five other siblings; an older sister named Ariela, a younger sister named Jade, a younger brother named Eloy, a younger sister named Fe, and a younger brother named Juan. Fe and Juan aren't in my gallery yet, but will appear in this series. Ariela, Jade, and Eloy won't be in this one just because I've drawn them multiple times before (most recently in the 2019 series). I haven't given much thought yet to what his life is like once he starts his own family, but he will have one.
