Thanks! I made a poll for people to vote on the background after I drew the foreground, and desert tied with abandoned factory. The latter would’ve been cool, but I honestly didn’t know how to draw it in a convincing way. The only thing I wish I could go back and change is add more details to the rock Star is standing on.

Yeah, rocks are hard to draw, I tend to stick to plants and foliage.

Thanks! Rag-tag is a good way to describe them. I wanted to go for something different from the canon PMD games and have the characters struggle to work together from the start. I think doing it that way will help make their eventual teamwork and unified efforts more convincing and meaningful.

Honestly, that kind of "teamwork" is my favorite "trope" in movies and books so I am 100% behind this!! It makes their eventual deep friendship mean so much more than if they were working together perfectly from the start.
