Didn't have room to draw the lower half of Freida's body, but that's something that can be fixed later. She and Chester will be two of the featured characters in As Bold as a Mouse 2; Rebekah will be another. Without spoiling too much, these two are newly married and have nothing but high hopes and high expectations for their relationship. They married young, practically rushing into their union. They were convinced it was love at first sight.

Rebekah thinks something is just a little off...but how could the small mouse say something and squelch their romantic sentiments? Not to mention they're much bigger than her and could easily flick her away.

The two have their first child in little time, and despite Rebekah's misgivings, the marriage continues seemingly without a hitch. On one fateful night, Chester and Freida are sleeping and don't notice the dark figure kidnapping their baby...but the small, dirt-colored mouse does. Circumstances cause her to be taken away with the child unbeknownst to the kidnapper, who leaves behind an ominous note for the parents before he absconds the scene. Once Chester and Freida realize what happened...

The unveiling of secrets becomes inevitable.

This will be the first story of mine in which a marriage will be a major plot point, but there's much, MUCH more that I left out. It will be mostly a "love story," but will be much deeper and substantial than the empty fluff on Hallmark. Like the first As Bold as a Mouse, it will portray a heavily Christian message. Most marriages I've ever portrayed have been fairly normal and not very conflict-ridden as far as fights and arguments go. I want to show with this story the value of grace in a marriage, between a man and a woman in Christ who find themselves at odds with each other. Boldness will be another theme, particularly in Rebekah's character. She'll have to learn that a part of loving your friend is having the tenacity to tell them they're wrong and urging them to do what is godly. There will be a lot of other characters, but I won't talk about them now. This barely scratches the surface.

This story will be written after I write How Wally Made National News. Chances are I won't get to ABAAM 2 until next year or the year after.
