Young newlyweds Edward and Sophia embark on their first matrimonial fracas when Edward answers a question Sophia asks rather bluntly.

"So if we fought each other, who would win?" She asks as they stroll through a haystack-speckled field.

"Me, obviously." Edward replied dryly and in jest. "I can fly; you can't. I can breathe fire; you're an ice type. Lastly, males are just stronger than females."

Eying the smirk on his face, she rears up and nudges him forcefully into a haystack. "We'll see about that!"

Thus the war began. It raged on for a few minutes before both wound up dirty, limbs sore, and covered in hay and laughter. Edward was forced to declare that he had met his match.

This will be digital, and it'll be zoomed out to accommodate tails, hair, and wings. Wanted to draw a "play fight" in order to practice showing action and to show Edward and Sophia doing something fun/innocent together. I also might be drawing ears on all male Scyroar characters from now on. I never drew them on Edward before because you can't see male Pyroar's ears, but then again, Pyroar's mane is cartoonishly large and covers them up. Male Scyroars have smaller (and normal-sized) manes, so it'd make sense to be able to see their ears. As usual, advice and feedback is appreciated. I'm planning this to be my last piece of the year; I'll finish Star and Eloy first, then move onto this.
