This is totally, 110% accurate to what I look like irl.Looking semi-concerned/perturbed as I draw things/fail to draw things, yep. That's why I'm starting to get wrinkles on my forehead already because my art makes my face do weird stuff for long periods of time before I realize that my hideous visage feels like it's being slowly sucked into some vortex originating somewhere near the general area of my screen.
Art is making me age faster. Or something.
Guess this is some sort of practice/attempt to figure out how to do other things to the degree that it kinda failed, kinda didn't, and I'm moderately pleased with the result so here it is! Slapped it up there because I can, whoot!
I should really go to sleep now. I stayed up way longer than I expected to. OTL

man, the things I'd do for a workspace like that... and that outfit This looks super rad~.Β
also, I've found that those subconscious expressions i make when i draw are actually kinda handy. i keep a mirror close by and if i happen to catch myself making that face, i've found it can help with getting the expression right, or even just using it for reference right at the start. :V

I should probably invest in getting a small mirror just for that. But my desk is so crowded already so I don't really know how that would go over, lol. I'll have to stick it to one of my cabinets or something. :'DDD

i can see a pocket mirror working just as well, especially since you could just hold it in your hands and throw it wherever. :V but yeah, space is an issue sometimes.Β

Also, I know the feel about making faces while arting. I tend to try to mimic the expressions or feelings I'm drawing XD

When I'm concentrating on something and trying to figure it out, one of my eyebrows goes up about half an inch and stays there. Feels as weird as it looks.

It tends to happen mostly when I'm tired, so I'll just randomly notice that my face is tired because my eyebrow has been trying to get into my hair. It's kind of weird to suddenly discover that your face has made itself crooked without your permission.Β

I definitely feel like murdering my paper sometimes, lmao. Especially when I can't seem to draw anything good or if I can't draw a line right after fifty-some-odd tries.
