Another one that's not part of the main 'GOHAN' collage, but an Alternate version of the primary Gohan.This outfit appears during the Great Saiyaman Arc, but also in a few movies if I'm not mistaken.

This costume is my favorite for Gohan, as it's got his signature flare.Β It has elements of both his Dad's Turtle-style and Piccolo's Demon Tribe costumes, but his own little twist on all of it.Β Sadly enough, it's the costume in which he kicks the least ass.
Style over substance, baby!Β He does bring the kickassery later, so who can bicker?Β It is pretty clear that Toriyama-sensei wanted to make Gohan the main character of Z.Β Especially by blending the best traits of Dragonball's hero and final villain together.Β Sometimes I think the Dragonballs themselves were a burden on the story making it so that nobody can *really* die.

Actually, it's thanks to the fans really. Toriyama, was primed to pass the torch onto Gohan and finally let Goku die, that was the whole purpose of the Cell Saga, to show that Gohan was going to be the next leader for the Z Warriors. But the out pour of fans demanding Goku back, so the Buu Saga, Goku was brought back into the story.Β
