Description
Full-Colour commission for of her character Asharthe commish was of the female character.
i was in the mood to draw trees and what not ( i love drawing trees and such) and so i kinda took this piece that direction.
had fun w/ this one.
aint done a topless/nude one for a bit, and actually wasn't even sure if i shoulda done her topless.. on one of the reference shots she was topless, so i went w/ that.
again, i prolly took this commission further than i should've and than what i had expected.. but ohwell, no harm done

I am just in love with the details you added on her, like the spots on her back and legs and the animal-like features that are her hands and feet. (Reminds me of lion claws.) She looks like she has a bit of a cat design to her.. like the eyes. The color and the way they're looking at you are just hypnotic. Wonderful job.

Spectacular. It's been so long since I've climbed, but You've got her very well balanced in the tree. Casual, but secure. And the eyes and the anatomy. She seems startled by something. And the exotic eye color, as well as detailed irises. Muscle tone indicates that she eats well, but the ribs seem to say she's no glutton. So many beautiful details.

Neat-o! I like the cel-shading on her body. I wish you had gone with that style for the trees. I mean, it looks like you were going for a blur since it's so close to use, but the rendering in the trees, even in the back branches looks very puffy. On the other hand, it does serve to draw our attention to the figure, so... kudos!

Very nice work bro! I think some others pointed out the buttcheek thing, which I agree with, but other than that this is pretty damn amazing. You pulled off a really difficult angle, and made a naturalistic pose...very impressive stuff. Plus, I'm always a fan of your coloring style.

We shouldn't be seeing the back of her butt if we want it to be anatomically correct.
But besides that the look at her face, the angle are really nice.

Well, I can see how you would come to the conclusion about the posterior area of the character. Technically the flexing is fine. That angle is definitely possible to achieve, but what seems off about it to me (like nekomimi-ruri mentioned) is the light at the bottom of the closest side of her butt. If you look at it, the light gives the impression of the bottom of a leg. It almost looks like a second knee joint, but foreshadowed to the front. At least that's how it hit me until I scrolled to see the whole picture.
I personally love it though. The perspective is amazing and the atmosphere is incredible! Keep it up!

yeh, i'm still trying to get used to these type of lightings
the distortion of the angle really fuzzled me up during the highlighting process, which in turn is still something i'm trying to get better at with every new piece.
i treat every new piece as a new experiment.

I think the thing that's bugging me is the shading on her butt. It kind of portrays her pose differently, making it look weird when it's really not weird at all. That's about it though. Honestly, I think it's just the more you look at it the stranger it looks, but the eyes like to play tricks on the mind. If you just look at it, it looks fine. Great work.

that section as w/ alot of section on this piece really bogged me up.
i'm still trying to learn how to do distinct tonal work w/ this sort of cel-shading.
what really made me rethink the highlights several times over was the slight distortion of the pic in it's entirety.
still, i learn through experimentation with every new piece.

Nice! I could see this as a movie, definitely. The shadows and the sunlight are wonderful and that bottom-most paw is beautiful.
On a side note, she kind of looks like Brigitte Nielsen...
