The only negative comments I've got is that the hair looks a little too plastic-ey and the eyes look a tad dead, but I adore the skin, especially those shoulders ^^

Few people understand when someone has the need to stretch their boundaries and go beyond comfort zones artistically. People form a bond of fandom over an artist and a sort of unspoken sense of ownership of what someone likes is formed. Often when an artist does something different they are then criticized or told what is "better" or what is more "them" as if the fan knows the artist better than the artist themselves!
Goes with the territory though! It is hard to learn that art for fun is to show part of what we love to create to people and that commissions are for catering to the client's tastes.
Digressing from the pic >.>...I love what you did with the skin here! very supple and touchable looking. It's always a delight to see something different from my fave artists
