I don't know the name of this waterfall. We found it by accident, while we we're looking for something completly different
We had the whole area for us, there was no one else.

Such accidental discoveries are the best, and it have happened to me also. I did run into a waterfall and it were not on any map. Now two years ago someone had put up a small sign of wood showing the direction to it, but seeing the small path very few appear to find their way there - then again, waterfalls are quite common in my area.

Lucky oh well perhaps, for me they provide a good spot to take visitors from abroad. Who almost always are quite enthusiastic.
Your image did stand out for me since the waterfall were in such a desolate landscape - ours are always surrounded by trees.

This one was near the western coast of Iceland about 2 hours away from Reykjavik, we had to leave the Road 1 to get there

Thats to far in the north, it was more between Snæfellsnes and Raykjavik
