These categories are still killing me...My first real attempt at a self portrait. I quite like the results, however, I'm still not satisfied with the background.

I don't see any problem with the background it suits Cobra (or you however you put it) perfectly and you did an excelent job and the sword one word. AWSOME!

I personally don't see a problem with it. The colors are just right, the pose is fantastic, the background makes it look like you just stomped some serious ass and all in all it looks sick to the core! Maybe one day I can do sick works like this.

I recognize this x3 Referenced from a screenshot of Resolute correct? Nicely done. Love that angle and the pose. If I had any criticism...hmm...let's see. It would be a little more dramatic if you were off-center from the picture, offset by the length of the sword. That'd give the composition more balance. And The blood looks a tad light but that could just be my screen

Yesss... I did take the liberty of using a screencap from Resolute as refrence. Again, this is my first time.
Off-set how, exactly? Perhaps if I moved myself more to the left of the image? Is that what you mean? It sounds like a good idea.
I actually thought the blood was too dark... I might darken it more... Hmmm ... maybe I should get some refrence for that, too. Haha!

Yeah, move more towards the left and maybe even extend the canvas to the right. I realize they didn't use the rule of thirds for that scene, but the background in the shot made it dramatic enough. For the purposes of an angled shot without a supporting bg, tilting the canvas or using the thirds composition is always more effective. *art classes ftw lol*
It could just be my screen. xD All computers have a bit of difference in color coordination.

The background rocks.To me it looks like a wall with blood going in every direction which would make sense since the sword you have has blood on it *hopes its serpentors blood* But that da logo is very visible Oo
