Demons can look like anything. And I think this is a great interpretation.

TOBI SMASH! XD I always imagined him as a tall dark figure with glowing red eyes and long, sharp claws. I also picture him having a creepy smile when pleased, and a large frown with sharp fangs showing (almost like the snarl of a wolf). And for some reason, I end up picturing all the same features but as a wolf or some other canine. I dunno why XD

TOBY But personally (or not so personally, as other people say so too) he should have claws. As he scratches people a lot. Toby is very tall also (but you would only know this if you have recently seen the third movie) Other than that it's great.

Nice, though you should have made him bigger and given him claws, since in 1 and 3 he scratches people, and in the third that kid said, "I felt a big claw in me."

I didn't give you permission to draw me, damnit!

Personally, and I mean this in the nicest possible way, I feel that the head lacks as much depth as the hand in the foreground and the chest. There appears to be a higher contrast (and possibly a little more detail?) around those areas which, to my eye, makes the head look a little flat...

It is still an very awesome drawing and concept. IMO the detail/shadowing on that foreground hand is impeccable!

Whoa! Holy crap that spooked me. I've watched the first two PA movies and thoroughly enjoyed them. Unless the demon is shown in the third, which I've not yet seen, then I'm assuming this is just your interpretation of the demon?

I hope I'm right about that assumption because I don't think they could make a bigger mistake than showing the demon, the whole point of those movies is to provide a realistic depiction of a demon entity. This very raw and realistic approach is what makes the movies actually scary, unlike most modern horror movies that just rely on splattering gore for shock value rather than put forth the effort to employ any real fear techniques.

its just my interpretation of the demon. i totally agree about keeping the creature unseen. nothing is scarier then the unknown. and special effects will never equal what your own imagination can fill in.

Well all in all it's a very impressive painting. As a very young child I used to suffer from an over active imagination and a stressful home life. My mind created a variety of terrifying images, I used to see horrible creatures every time the lights went out. This picture really reminds of those images, makes me shudder.
