um.....yeah....so.....yeahThis is.....different.
Ok so i've always been a fan of American McGee's ALICE. The game's great and the characters are fantastic (they are designed so well!
So I thought my first deviation would be my version of the Game's main character.
Oh yeah...Legal stuff....

Yeah, 6 years old (I actually think it's a bit older but I didn't upload it until 6 years ago), crazy to see how far I've come.

While I've never actually played this game, I have watched a playthrough of it - and I think it looks awesome. This is, in my opinion, kind of what Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland should have been like.
My fave character from what I've seen is probably the Cheshire Cat in this game - I love his design here. Also, I like the idea of Alice technically going through her own psyche (and actually her own body in the Queensland area) and the idea of what the Queen of Hearts in this game actually represents.

It's one of my favorite games even now, along with it's sequel, which imo is just as good (there's some flaws but they are very minor, namely that one world drags for a bit but I was too immersed to mind, and that tutorials on gaming mechanics are rather persistent. For example: when I played through and got to a part where you have to double-jump across these platforms, a little screen would pop up reminding me about how to double-jump...every...single...TIME, which is fine for the first level, but when it reminds you towards the end of the game it's silly). Everybody else complained about the fact they would build up a boss level and then it wouldn't actually happen, but I really didn't mind considering every time the battle was interrupted by an important plot-point and it did serve a purpose.
The Cheshire cat's my favorite too! I love him, the red Queen is also one of my favorite villains, I used her monologue at an audition a few years back.
I also love the Dormouse in the second game, because he's pretty creepy, especially when you hear his announcements over an intercom in his sweatshop.

The second game explores that in even greater detail, going into her mind even more and crossing between the two worlds
Hahaha glad you like it. I'm tempted to draw it again before I graduate, seeing as it's my first ever DA submission and it would be somewhat symbolic of how far I've come.

Oh, I heard about people criticising the second one - I can imagine you getting annoyed by the endless tutorials. 
Also - I love the dark humour - when the Duchess sneezes so hard her head explodes. 
And I love the music for the Dollhouse level, and the design for the Infernal Train is pretty cool - and when Alice pushes Dr Bumby into the train at the end.
