I finally got around to finishing this piece at last, I started it nearly two years ago now! Happy early 20th Birthday Sonic!

I'm glad I stuck through with it though, I do have a nasty habit of starting and abandoning artwork, but I'm gonna try and turn that around and finish all of the pieces I've started before I forget about them. There's still plenty of artwork I started years ago that hasn't even been shown yet...

This is actually how I pictured Sonic 2006 would turn out when the game was first announced, claiming it was 'Sonic returning to his roots' (What a crock of shit). Well, I'll always have my memories of what could of been...

I always have the song 'Birthday' by Destiny's Child in my head when looking at this. I really don't know why, I just always connect that song to Sonic 06's Kingdom Valley for some reason.
