Element of honesty, everyone---------------------------------------------------------------------
So, does this count as me drawing AJ? I say it does. you can't condraddict me!
Anyway, there were so many things i wanted to draw for the finale...too many...so i decided to opt for one of my favourite moments, especially since i haven't seen this done yet...maybe i'll draw something else later but i'm not really sure
Also, i tried to play a bit with perspectives and different angles from what i usually do so don't beat me if everything is broken, i tried!

That was pretty clever of the show people to have AU Chrysalis show up as the canon 'verse Element of Honesty.
It was also pretty clever to have SG sit in Fluttershy's chair to imply the Butterfly Effect and a secondary sort of vengeance against Fluttershy who deceived her in the season opener. By siting in her chair, she used the position of honor given to her deceiver to enact her plan of revenge against her deceiver's leader.

I totally agree with you one that one. It also makes complete sense that Starlight showed up where she did in those two episodes. She had no idea where Twilight lived, but knowing she was an Alicorn, the most logical start to her search would be Canterlot, though she had to take her time getting there just in case the authorities were searching for her. It was fortuitous for Starlight to have arrived in Canterlot early enough that she could spy on Twilight as she began Amending Fences from her childhood. It's a shame she was so absorbed with revenge that she didn't learn about who Twilight really was from (or about what she should've done in light of) that rekindled friendship.
Still, all she had to do after finding Twi was follow her home without being caught. Then she had to wait for a time where Twi would be gone from her castle long enough to investigate what she could use against her, thus leading her to investigate the Map. It was fortuitous that she was close enough to hear Pinkie blurt out "Time Travel," which lead her back to Canterlot to explore the archives for Starswirl's spell so that she could modify it to screw with Twilight's past. Then all she needed to do was wait for the perfect oportunity to present itself, which it did in Twi's Simultaneous Cutie Mark Acquisition lecture.
I'm actually mildly surprised that Starlight got everything she needed at just the right time so that the finale could've even happened. It seems so improbable that possibly the power behind the Tree of Harmony and Twi's Castle/the Map might have guided events to work out like they did, if one were to look for an in universe explanation.

The right time? I'm not sure what you mean but as far as i know, episodes can happen with months of distance from one another and she may have been spying on them for longer than we think, so i'm not sure how much the tree has to do with any of this, i'm not saying it isn't possible but it could be she is just that persistent

Another possibility to be sure, but everyone's entitled to their own head canons, right or wrong.
Persistence does have its part to play, and I'm well aware that the chronology of episodes is usually grey with in a Season.
As far as "the right time" goes, I guess I should clarify. I meant that I assumed she considered time travel only because Pinkie blurted it out during What About Discord, and would have otherwise found a way to screw with her present instead. I also meant that if she didn't find Twilight during Amending Fences, I believe she would have missed the opportunity she didn't know she had due to her fixation on revenge to realize that she could have worked to rekindle the first friendship she lost instead of ruining the lives of Twilight Sparkle, her friends, and everyone who depended on the six of them for protection from the threats they all face on what sometimes seems like a day to day basis.
