Specials
Neutral Special – Waluigi Serve: Waluigi started his time harassing the Mushroom Kingdom with tennis, so he carries his skills with him into this battle. Waluigi will toss a tennis ball up and serve it, resulting in a small projectile capable of dealing decent damage. The ball will even stick around unless Waluigi serves again allowing it to be picked up and thrown. From time to time, rather than a tennis ball, Waluigi will serve up an explosive Bob-omb! And should Waluigi attempt to serve while under fire, he will actually add the power of the attack to his serve delivering a painful serve ace!
Side Special – Liar Ball: Waluigi pulls out a special baseball he uses for strikeouts. As Waluigi spins his arm, building up speed for the serve, the ball will increase in size and power. If he reaches max size, Waluigi will pitch regardless. Sadly, possibly due to Waluigi cutting corners, the ball will shrink back down in size as it travels through the air.
Up Special – Spring Shoes: Waluigi has a literal spring in his step. To outmatch his rival Luigi in the art of jumping Waluigi installed powered springs in the base of his shoes to really bounce him into the air. Waluigi’s initial launch is the only part of the move that does damage, leaving him mostly vulnerable while in the air.
Down Special – Vacuum Orb: Stolen from Egad to prove himself superior to Luigi, the notorious Vacuum Orb allows Waluigi to begin to suck up the area in front of him. Not only does this allow him to grab items from a bit further ahead of himself, but he can suck up and neutralize enemy projectiles!
Final Smash – Thorny Waluigi: Waluigi’s done playing nice! He’s busting out the big guns, and by big guns we literally mean big guns. Bullet Bill cannons to be exact. Waluigi takes the skies via spring-loaded shoes and the bullet bills will follow him into the air. Once in the sky, Waluigi pulls out his vine he uses for powerful soccer shots and strikes the bullet bills making them rain down on the field surrounded with purple re-entry fire. This cutscene plays out a cinematic of the Bullet Bill cannons firing, Waluigi jumping, and striking the Bullet Bills with his whip.

Snake Codec
Snake: What in the world is this guy?
Colonel: That’s Waluigi. With his tricks, cheats, and gear, he may be one of the few fighters who can top you in field work Snake.
Snake: You’re kidding right? He may be creepy, but he’s not exactly a serious fighter.
Colonel: Hey may not be serious, but he has been preparing for this Snake. A long time althete, he is dedicated in taking the spotlight from the Mario Brothers. Or at least Luigi.
Snake: Going after Luigi? Someone doesn’t aim very high. And I heard he hangs around Wario, what’s their connection?
Colonel: That Snake, is a mystery we may never know the answer to.

Palutena Guidance
Pit: Yikes, Waluigi looks like he desperately needs something to eat.
Palutena: He may be scrawny Pit, but don’t underestimate him. Waluigi is infamous for his cheating skills.
Pit: Wait, how do you cheat here? No one is really restricted by any kind of weapon or technique restrictions.
Palutena: While true here his cheats are clever moves, he isn’t above using a few cheap tricks. His Liar Ball is deadly at close range but gets weaker as it travels. And his tennis serve can create a lethal projectile.
Viridi: Really sounds more like he’s a bad sport star than a dangerous threat.
Pit: And like any other ranged fighter, my Guardian Orbiters will toss the stuff right back!
Palutena: Which would be great, except he’s skilled enough for his serve to take the power from a projectile and turn it into power for his serve. So anything you reflect, he can reflect back.
Viridi: Which makes this more of his game, not yours.

Cruller’s Advice
Raz: Purple, lanky, and I think I smell sports cream
Cruller: Sounds like Waluigi. He uses a lot of gadgets and sports gear in the fight so he’s a bit unpredictable. Stay on guard and if you see those Bullet Bills coming get ready to run.

Fighting in the center of the board the contestants are relatively safe from the chaos going on outside. But a conflict arises from the fact the board is being played! Occasionally a large pinball will come rolling down the screen, doing heavy damage to whoever fails to get out of the way.
