Description
Canada geese are a big favourite of mine to photograph, great colours and markings and allways plenty of action to capture. I think of this kind of manouver as handbraking or dropping anchor both extreme ways of slowing downand scrubbing off speed.

This has to be the BEST landing goose shot I have EVER Seen. The detail and light on the wings is perfect!

It reminds me of a heraldic crest the way the wings are bent at right angles and the feet are splayed.
