Cheers! i've been after that a few years now, a lot of planning is required and first find a area where you can get the shutter /apeture settings
required, then try to get the birds.

Cheers that was took with Nikon D2Xs, 70-200 F2.8 VR Lens. 1/2000sec, 2.8

Yes no flash. i prefer not to use flash on birds. just make sure i get a good height and angle
on the light for the subjects.

I tried to flash them to freeze their movement but my flash has only 1/200 time so it's too long for them

HHMMM one of the reason i never really tried myself really, my flash will only go to 1/250thsec, 1/2000thsec is the minimum shutter i work too, conditions permitting maybe 1/4000.

Yeah, I know this too good. Than what iso do you use? I try not to go more than 400 - 800 is max, but then I have to go to 2,8 f so this gives me very narrow depth of field...

Ye sme here!!!! i use 200iso for 95% of my shots, i will go up to 800 if the action is worth it. ye im normally at f2.8 thats the catch with high speed shooting, but good light and some thought about angle and time of day
and 1/4000 f4 can be possible at iso 200. all ya godda do is capture a good one then LOL very challenging indeed
