The last operating sulphlur mine in Europe is 20km from my home. They ship it to Germany. Sulflur ussually occurs mixed into other other compounds, like sand in tiny procentages all across the planet. Finding it in stages is extremely rare as most of them were exploited already or are hidden deep underground or otherwize unaccesable. Sulflur however can gather on the bed of some rivers, expecially near the place it flows into a water reservoir, another river or in caves due to the sulphlur accumulating on certain types of rock.
