What happens when you're a coroner bored at the morgue when the only thing you have laying around is bodies and a Mr. Potatohead toy? Take a human brain and stick some Mr. Potatohead parts in it, of course! This was for an assignment for my Illustration class. I love the concept behind this brain potato head concept. Now that you a basis with this concept I think you should extend it further by creating more of a compositional scene. One thing to do maybe is to add another potato character in the equation. Possibly you could do a potato encountering the brain character and exchanging body parts. Maybe you could extend the horror aspect with the brain stealing body parts from one potato and replacing the facial parts with bloody murder weapons.
You were probably limited to the size of paper you were given to draw this on based on assignment parameters. Try to expand the environment further in another drawing to see where this concept could go.
There are some things you should consider with this drawing that are a little unclear.
Some of the body parts and weapons are a little hard to tell in the background on the floor. The hand on the right does not have the same rendering like the one on the left.
