DISCLAIMER: "Beetlejuice" and its characters are the creation of Michael McDowell (who wrote them in the first place). Tim Burton directed them.Well , here's that "Beetlejuice" drawing I promised you all those months ago! Hope you like it!
Anyway, the approach I went for with this drawing was to fuse elements of both the film version and cartoon version of these characters...in my style, of course.
I must say that I'm extremely happy with how Lydia turned out. I was a little worried about how Beetlejuice would turn out in my style but overall, I'm pretty pleased with the final result.I hope you don't mind me getting just a little shmoopy on you guys right now but there really was one major piece in this image...
My grandma (also an artist) passed away this past week while I was working on this drawing. With your kind words and encouragement, I felt a certain push, a rush of motivation if you will, that powered me through the final steps of this drawing so I have to send a little quick shout of thanks your guys' way. You're all fantastic.

OMG omg o.m.g this is just friggin sweeeeet, i mean the fact that someone actually draw something FOR ME !! And not the other way around...and my all-time favourite character from my all-time favourite movie and cartoon...seriously, I almost cried a little...THAT awesome this is ^_^. And seriously, i love how you made Lydia dressed like in a cartoon, but she's more mature version...like in the movie. And Beetlejuice...with that green shit on head and lips...looks like mix of movie and cartoon versions which i always like to see, because it shows level of creativity in artist and here....its over nine-thousaaaaaaaaaaaand @_@.
I love this artwork, I love the fact that you made something for me ^^...you are such a big bag of awesomness that if i lived in Canada i would marry you

and you managed to actually mingle the real life likenesses and cartoon likenesses, as well as your own style PERFECTLY.
I am so sorry to hear about your loss, but dhe must be happy knowing she has an incredibly beautiful, astoundingly creative, and stupendously talented granddaughter in you.
