Description
This piece is titled “Rest and Relaxation” and features Vane Black from the webcomic The Next Town Over. The lines were created using Adobe Illustrator CS5.5 with a touch/pressure sensitive Wacom Intuos 4 tablet. Grey scale and shading were added using Adobe Photoshop CS5.5. The whole project took about 8 hours, with a lot of time spent at the end balancing the tones, redrawing parts that didn’t fit and adding in the forest line.
