One of my favorite Barbie's when I was little.

Our local mall had a sort of kids fashion show one day. We got to go wearing our play dresses and walk down a run way stage. But the part I remember most was that the MC was dressed up as Barbie. And she was MY Barbie. My Barbie was real in that moment and it's a magical memory that's always stuck with me.

Another part of it was that it was the first Barbie I recall having that wasn't blonde, mine was brunette, so it was at least a bit closer to something little me could identify with. Though when I was looking for drawing references all I could find was the brunette doll with sort of lavender eyes and i could have sworn they were green and brown.
