hi! I'm Aja and I'm a reporter for DailyDot.com. I love this photo and your expression! If it's okay with you, I'd really like to use it to accompany an article I'm doing about the uproar over Bustle.com, haha. I'd cite theevilteddy as the photographer with a link back to this page. If that's not okay please let me know!Β Thank you!!! - Aja / dailydot.com/authors/aja-romanβ¦

This is so cool! I've always wanted to see a real 1880's bustle, instead of drawn in fashion plates. How fascinating!

Thanks! But this is only my interpretation of one, I didn't use any old patterns or anything like that.

It looks kinda flat. It needs to stick off almost at 90 degrees. The ties actually belong behind your bum and legs to keep it from falling into you. (The dress you wear over it is gorgeous, though.)

I have a lot of ties inside it to pull it together and make it stick out and stay behind me. But you are right, I didn't get the upper part right. It sticks out at least 100 cm at the bum anyways. Do you have any tip how to make it stick out more?

100 cm actually sound pretty good. In the picture it just looked like you had the ties that belong behind your bum and legs in front of you.
