At your house you were waiting anxiously for Romano…it was finally the day of the party and you were so excited but so nervous at the same time. You were so wound up in fact, that when Romano knocked at the door, you jumped a bit.

"Coming!" you called, rushing to the door.

Your eyes widened and you blushed at the sight before you…

Here was your friend Romano, well more recently your boyfriend, dressed up in a black tuxedo with a dark red undershirt…..he looked perfect…like a model…

In the meantime, Romano couldn't take his eyes off you either. You had worn your hair in just the right way to flatter your face and your makeup complemented everything about you perfectly.

Your dress flowed all the way down to (place) and the color and cut of it was brilliant on you…you looked perfect…

"U-um…so how are you?" you said finally.

"What? Oh…fine." Romano said shifting his eyes to the side.

You smiled at how cute his face looks. "You're all pouty faced…my pouty little Roma." You teased, kissing his right cheek.

"I'm not pouting!" he argued.

You giggled. "Well we don't have to leave just yet. Would you like to come in?" you asked.

He growled and just walked past you, still acting annoyed by your words.

You turned around and noticed that he was walking into the kitchen.

"Don't eat anything Roma! There's going to be lots of food at the party!" you called.

"I'm getting a glass of water, woman!" he shouted back.

You laughed. Sure he was a pain in the ass and was bitchy to no end….but he was your bitch little guy…your Roma…

As you approached the kitchen, you thought you could hear him going through something.

"Roma…I said no eati—……." You stopped in mid-sentence and your eyes softened at the sight of Romano holding a shiny red apple in his right hand.

You smiled and walked in slowly, wrapping your arms around him from behind.

"I know it's not a tomato…but it's red like a tomato…and apples are really yummy too…if you're hungry you can have it…" you whispered, echoing your words from all those years ago.

You rested your chin on his shoulder and stroked his hair once more as you still held him from behind.

"You were the nicest person I knew back then...you didn't even have to get to know me to like me…." Romano said. His voice was just relaxed…it didn't sound happy or sad…he was just talking…

"People are such idiots…they shouldn't need to know you to see how wonderful you are." You replied, kissing his cheek.

You could practically see him rolling his eyes right now. "Wonderful?" he grumbled.

"Mmm hmm…" you said, still petting his hair.

"I'm not that great ok." He said, still trying to maintain his attitude.

You rolled your eyes and smiled. That attitude of his.

"Don't be so sour Lovi…" you laughed.

"I'm not being sour!" he complained.

Laughing, you reached up and tugged on his curl, getting an instant response.

"A-ah! I already told you to not do that!" Romano complained, his cheeks now resembling the tomatoes he so adored.

"Awwwww you look so cute Roma." You teased.

"I-I don't and let g-go of it already! A-ah!" he begged, his voice coming out more as a groan this time.

"Ha! Or you'll do what?!" you teased.

You gasped when Romano suddenly grabbed your wrist, turned you around, and pinned you to the countertop with his hips.

You stared at him with wide eyes and flushed cheeks.

"Or I'll….." he began.

"Y-you…." You stammered.

He gulped hard. "Forget it…let's go…" he said, pulling away from you altogether and walking out of the room.

Part of you was totally relieved that he had let go because you weren't able to breathe before but even more of you was disappointed….you had liked it in Romano's arms like that…

"Hey! Are you coming or what?!" you heard the subject of your thoughts shout from the living room.

You gulped…you were about to make a decision. It was reckless and you weren't even sure about it yourself but you couldn't resist it…

"Lovino…" you said, walking up to him and taking hold of his arm.

"Yeah what?" he grumbled.

"Do you…want to skip the party?" you asked softly.

"What?" he asked, looking at you oddly.

Fuck…you shouldn't have asked.

"I just thought that maybe well…we could go out and do something fun just the two of us….and skip the party…." You said nervously, as you rubbed the side of your arm.

Shit…what the hell were you thinking? Romano was an ass and picky and impatient…he wasn't going to like this last minute idea…he was probably going to be mad….

"Where do you want to go?" he said.

"Huh?" you asked, looking up at him with surprise.

"Are you deaf or something? I said; where do you want to go?" he said, narrowing his eyes at you.

"Lovi….I would…" you smiled and took one of his hands in both of yours. "I would like to go somewhere that's special to me…"

He looked back at you and much to your surprise, he smiled. "Fine, but it better not be a hassle to get there." And with that said he walked out the door.

You laughed lightly and followed him outside, grabbing his hand.

"H-hey! What are you doing?!" he asked with a blush.

"You're my boyfriend now right? That means we can hold hands…" you said, holding his hand even tighter.

Romano made a small growl before looking away with a blush still on his cheeks.

"Where are we even going?" he asked, trying to distract himself from your grip on his hand which was in turn making his heart beat out of control.

"It's a surprise…" you smiled.

"Hey…we're kinda headed out of town." He said, noting where you were guiding him.

"Of course…that's the plan." You laughed.

Lovino finally sighed and wrapped his hand around yours as well…the mood was actually rather nice…

"Heh heh…hey there girlie! You doing anything tonight all dressed up like that?" a voice said from behind them.

You didn't even want to turn around; that voice was just saturated with perversion and oiliness…but you did turn around to see one man standing there.

"I'm on a date." You simply stated.

The man began to laugh. "With this shrimp?!" he chuckled and grabbed your wrist. "Come play with me…."

"BASTARD!!! SHE'S MINE!" Romano shouted, punching the man hard in the face.

The man stood still for a moment before bursting into tears. "Oooow! That hurt! Wh-what the hell?!" he cried before running away.

"Oh…I get it. One of those guys who looks tough but is actually a total pussy" you said blinking a few times. Then you giggled. "My little Roma totally manned up back there. That's not like your normal self." You laughed.

"Hey! Are you calling me a baby?!" Romano growled angrily.

You cupped his cheek and kissed his lips quickly.

"No…I'm just proud of you…" you said softly, hugging him quickly. "Now let's go."

After about 15 more minutes of walking, you saw Romano's facial expression change.

"Do you know where we're heading Lovi?" you asked.

"It's familiar…" was all he said as he continued to look around.

"Well…do you remember this…" you asked, as you pulled him out of the tree line and into an opening.

His eyes immediately widened. The field…this field…your field….the place you both met…

"Do you remember it?" you asked hopefully.

He rolled his eyes. "Of course I do stupid…." He said before walking out into the starlit field.

The moon was full that night, casting a mystical glow on all of the flowers…and on your Romano as well.

Pulling off your shoes, you smiled and raced into the middle of the field before laughing happily and lying down in the soft flowers.

"Hey, what the hell are you doing?" Romano asked raising a brow.

"Lie down next to me." You said simply.

Romano simply sighed and did as he was told….and for a while nothing happened.

"________...?" Romano said finally.

You were surprised. You hadn't expected him to be the one to break the silence.

"Yes?" you asked, blinking.

"Are you….happy here with me?" he asked finally.

You looked over to see his face but noticed that he was only staring up at the stars with an expression that ripped your heart….loneliness….

"Lovino…of course I'm happy here with you!" you assured him, taking his hand.

He still didn't look at you.

"Why are you asking me that…?" you asked softly.

"Because…I just…" he growled when he couldn't find the right words. "Damn it…I'm…I'm not very good at saying how I feel!"

You only smiled sympathetically and waited patiently for him to continue.

"And…and I….I guess what I'm trying to say is…ugh damn it! __________, I don't want you to leave ever!" he shouted finally.

Your eyes widened as you stared at the panting Lovino…

"Lovin—"

You were cut off when Romano pulled you into his arms tightly…

"When you took off from my house…I was sure you hated me…and I was thinking that I had lost the only person who gives a shit about me…." Romano said.

You closed your eyes and snuggled into him.

"I won't leave you Lovino….I never will…" you whispered.

"You promise?" he asked you.

"Yes…" you assured him lovingly.

Then Lovino surprised you once again when he suddenly flipped you over and placed himself over you, kissing you almost desperately. Though you were initially surprised, it didn't take you long to recover and start kissing him back with equal fervor.

You moved your hands up carefully to his hair and made sure to avoid his curl seeing as how your situation was intimate already. You made a tiny sound of surprise when you felt Romano run his tongue along your lower lip, asking for entrance which you quickly granted. You made a soft groaning sound into the kiss more or less involuntarily. It didn't matter to you though…this kiss with Romano…you had been dreaming of it for so long…

Unfortunately your hand brushed the area you had originally tried to avoid, instantly evoking a groan from Lovino.

"S-sorry Lovi…." You breathed against his lips.

"For what?" he asked.

You didn't fully understand your situation either until suddenly you felt your dress being hiked up your legs and Lovino's fingers grazing your thighs.

"L-Lovi! W-wait!" you sputtered, pulling back to look at him.

Lovino looked at you with surprise. "Um…since you were little?"

You blushed in embarrassment. "A-actually…I had these two dolls that looked like us….and I used to dress them up like they were getting married and make them kiss."

Romano looked at you for a moment before bursting into laughter and pointing a finger at you. "You're so stupid! What a girly stupid thing to do!"

To your surprise, Romano stopped laughing. "Quit being so damn sensitive…"
