Looks great, although I don't think you'd get those atmospheric glare effects in the vacuum of space...

thefirstfleet In reply to daveraven [2014-02-13 22:40:36 +0000 UTC]

Not unless that asteroid "cave" was filled with dust particles

MadCat221 [2013-10-21 02:53:46 +0000 UTC]

I think the Pegasus was much further in than that.  They would have seen the Romulan ship approaching to "accidentally" collapse the entrance if they were only that far in.

I was under the presumption that it was a searchlight on the Enterprise.

thefirstfleet In reply to MadCat221 [2013-10-21 18:51:19 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, but what about the light then?

Err... wrong layer.

I was under the presumption that it was a searchlight on the Enterprise.

It's more than an attempt... It's a perfect result.

Good to see another space cave, seems I'm not the only who like this scene setup.

Cool scene! So many of these TNG I've not seen since they were originally broadcast, so I'd all but forgotten about this.

thefirstfleet In reply to RobCaswell [2013-09-04 14:00:13 +0000 UTC]

I have never seen this episode. But I knew of the scene and I wanted to make my version of it.

RobCaswell In reply to thefirstfleet [2013-09-04 14:15:34 +0000 UTC]

Really. You never saw it?? How much of TNG did you miss?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

thefirstfleet In reply to RobCaswell [2013-09-04 15:51:43 +0000 UTC]

A lot! I have seen all of TOS, most of VOY and probably all of ENT except for a few filler episodes of the Xindi arc. But lots of TNG and DS9 are still ahead of me.

I dunno how to do that in Max. Tried every possible settings, all it looked like was like a white layer.

Thank you very much for the kind words.

No, I'm an amateur, I never made anything for money, not a single model or render.
