Samson and Brozzle walked through the slushy snow, side by side. Their breath still misted in the air, although the season was growing warmer. Here and there, bare earth stuck out defiantly from the snow, and young grass had already sprouted. Sunkissed Meadow in the FHS was stunning in the winter as it was in the summer.
Samson attempted to snatch mouthfuls of the grass here and there, to the amusement of Brozzle, who would nicker.
Both the horses were handsome, wearing their saddles and matching bridles.
The trees that dotted the landscape were still naked, their thin branches fanning out like fingers.
This time of year was always beautiful, Echo thought. Beside her, mounted on Samson, was Elizabeth, the owner of FHS.
Both riders wore their winter jackets and mittens still, along with neccesities such as riding boots.
Even though winter was coming to an end, it was still cold out.
As they walked, Echo and Elizabeth conversed about the plans that were still in the near future for the sanctuary.
They hardly noticed the curious chestnut mustang as it watched them from behind a tree.
Tasuke, who was naturally feral, stayed a safe distance back.
Brozzle noticed him, however, and whinnied a welcome. Tasuke answered, but didn't come closer. Samson snorted, and pranced off in the snow. Elizabeth laughed, and Echo nudged Brozzle to keep up.
They broke into a canter then, and their laughter filled the air.

Finally done! Took me two hours nonstop while I was babysitting my cousins earlier today.
This is my entry for ~ferralsoul 's "Trail Ride through FHS".

Soo, as you probably noticed, the snow doesn't look white.
Part of that is due to mistake, and part of it my doing. I added some light tan to the white to make the appearance of mud, since the snow is melting and whatnot.
But, since my scanner sucks, it figured that the rest of it might as well be tan as well, I guess.
Oh well, I am happy with it, I hope you guys like it!

P.S. I really hope you can see Brozzle's spots and stripes, they didn't turn out too well because he is so dark.
