#HARPG-Outlaw-Trail Chapter 1 "Death Rides a Horse": Assignment #2: Shake a Hand (Day 1)

As soon as it was suggested that the Lawmen team up in pairs, people began moving about towards familiar faces. Ariat was caught off guard and backed up suddenly as a horse and rider cut across her path. She baked right up into another horse who spooked and kicked at the dunskin mare. Ariat leap forward and froze as Vivian pulled back on the reins and steadied her.
"Easy, girl," Vi cooed, leaning down to stroke the mare's thick neck. Ariat snorted but trusted her rider and relaxed. Vivian's eyes began scanning faces for a familiar one, but the chaos had scrambled everyone and left a little cloud of dust hanging in the dry air. The sherif continued his speech, and Vi directed her attention towards him. By the time he had finished and everyone began moving out, Vivian was still without a partner. She hung back with Ariat who tugged on the reins, not wanting to be left behind. Near the end of the trail of Lawmen, Vivian spotted an unmistakably familiar horse. She urged Ariat into a trot and called out, "Adele!" A woman with short blonde hair looked back from a top her fawn spotted mare. Seeing Vivian, she grinned and held up her mare until Vi and Ariat caught up.
"You got a partner?" Vivian asked.
"Nope. You?" Adele answered, with a chuckle.
"Nope," Vivian laughed. "Wanna team up?"
"Absolutely!" Adele grinned. She twisted around and suck out her hand towards Vivian who reached out and shook it. Ariat stretched out her nose to greet the other Nordanner mare who looked back with a kind eye. This was gonna be a blast.

Yes! Ariat and Vi are teaming up with *Ikiuni 's Adele and Panthera! Nordie girl power!
