Very pretty work, the colour and lighting is soft and subtle. And the depth of field that blurs the background is lovely...if only the front petals were in focus...

Thanks. Just the normal post-processing, a bit contrasts. I used my AF Micro Nikkor 105mm for this one.

Nope, but as second hand lens it was really cheap and image quality is somewhat same as with af-s version. So currently, for me, there would be little sense buying the more expensive one.

Indeed the focus is pretty cool. Good work on getting pistill-section sharp. The rest melts nicely into the background.

Thanks. I shot this without tripod (hence the ISO400 there go get fast enough shutter speed). There was just too much wind so nothing was stationary long enough... and I was also on sunday walk with camera, so I didn't carry one.

Nice photo. The narrow depth of filed is great... Advance critique? It's hard to point out something... I think that the edge of one petal (the one that is at 4 o'clock) is to "strong"... Nothing more
