I'm thinking (and since this is Tom Kenny we're talking about, just for Rule of Funny sake either a male or female character will do) someone from Rita's past (long lost relative, ex boyfriend/former love interest [Double Actor Allusion since Tom is married to Rita's voice actress, Jill Talley], old school teacher and/or acquaintance/friend, etc).

Somehow, in the case of the boy classmate I doubt it. The original show is the type that gets either actual little boys or grown women who can sound convincing enough to play 1-13 year old boys. And since the spinoff is most likely going to be runned by the same people as the parent program, it's a safe bet that the same will apply. But I can definitely see/hear him as a teacher, police officer, etc.
