Wait, I gots ta clear a few rings up here. So, as an equalist, is Zuko an actual equalist? Or a bender infiltrating their ranks? And what happened with da gang to make him their favourite Amon follower?
Oh, apart from all those questions, I feel obliged to inform you that this is a great comic, I loved it, and I like the idea very much, I was just a bit confused by some of the finer points.

Zuko is an equalist, he was originally really trying to capture Aang and deliver him to Amon, but since then he's realized that what Amon was doing was wrong.
Zuko is a bender, but nobody really knows it except for his uncle. A firebender took his mother away from him and that is why he chose to be an equalist and leave behind his life as a bender. He hasn't used firebending since his mom passed away since he hates himself for having the ability to bend, especially since he is a firebender too.
Hmm, I have to give it more thought for his whole backstory but I was trying to parallel his ATLA backstory, but more in this time period since we know that one firebender is off killing people's parents.
