Description I made this rough sketch of a Reanimactivated being when I was exploring a nearby swamp. It was only halfway back to life, and its beady and glazed little eyes followed me around as I examined it. It was an interesting looking little critter.

I plan to go out to the swamp again in a few months when it has been fully Reanimactivated, and hopefully then I can gain more knowledge about the creature. I have never seen anything like it in my life!

- Brother Frederic.

Editor's Note: This was the last recovered journal entry of Brother Frederic's.

Perhaps he cut his way out of the beast's stomach with his assortment of scientific equipment!

Thanks a lot, pal!

Thank you!

And yeah, I had to put those details in. Got to do the little bugger justice!

It does make him look very cool, you are most excellent at drawing .

Goodness. Brother Federic...well, I am sure he is sketching the inside of this creature now.

Your style reminds me so much of Giger. The details are sketchy which just adds to the eccentricity of the creature. The lines look hurried and precise which gives its skin a hard texture. 'Tis a very cool sketch, Glomey dearest.

Haha, that gives me an interesting idea for a drawing...

Thanks very much!

I love how you seem to incorporate your mark (sigil?) into your artwork....I don't know if I actually see it in all of them, or if you upt it in all of them, or if I'm just seeing it in some of them because I'm looking for it (That was confusing, sorry), but it's cool.

TheGlome In reply to AydnJames [2005-10-07 04:26:56 +0000 UTC]

The sigil in most of them. Just not my older stuff... glad you noticed. I've hidden it quite well in some of them. Thanks!

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

HousesOfApollo In reply to TheGlome [2005-08-11 06:22:10 +0000 UTC]

It's from Dune . It's the Bene Gesserit litany against fear. I repeat to myself sometimes I'm such a nerd . Here's the full quote:

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I shall remain.

That's where I got my copy, it was for save for a 25ยข. I recorded this incident in my journal:

My time there was serendipitous, however, for I found Frank Herbert's Dune on paperback for a quarter. I got a masterpiece of science fiction for less than half the price of a can of coca-cola, serendipitous indeed. .

I used to put much more mundane stuff in my journal. Now I just make fun of stupid people to feel better about myself .

Exciting certainly! Hmm - But I always have to check myself; how on earth am I meant to draw flying cities attacking each other? It's a horrid situation - I can't write what I want to becuase, although I can visulise it perfectly, I can't draw it!
Yes, that is a good term... thank you *is preoccupied*
