Are they? I just looked at the old costumes for the monsters and reminded of me of apes but if they're aquatic this changes things

just him. sanda because he lives in the mountains does resemble an ape. his brother live's in the sea and has a few scales on his body as a result.

Before I did the drawings of the gargantuans I looked at several pictures of them to get a feel for what they look like and what they are, and they are big foots but big foots are apes and so that's why I made them look like apes and not guys in costumes
