Description
Since Tim Burton's version of Alice in Wonderland came out I noticed people were making their own Cheshire Cat characters or their own likenesses of him. Since he has been my favorite character for years (besides the White Rabbit) I decided that I would make my own Chesh.Of course, she is female and not the one Alice meets in the book or movies. After all, in the book it was stated that "All Cheshire Cats smile" meaning that Chesh is simply a cat from Cheshire. I laughed when I googled the place. No wonder they smile all the time. XD
Anywho, I never did create my own kitty until during the end of my Discrete Math class earlier this year when we were studying the Fibonacci Numbers (my favorite unit <3) We learned about Phi, which is that symbol that is at the top of the ref. I thought it was a perfect name for her. ^^ Originally she had a normal colored nose and pads, and her eyes kept being switched between orange, gold, or green because I couldn't make up my mind. But I was messing around on my iPad and gave her these eyes, which I ended up keeping in this final design. <3

Oh me too! Sadly she is just in my head and on whatever image I draw of her. ;w; Hopefully I will get to make a plushie of her soon! 8D

haha, i thought you might make a plushie! but what will you do for her eyes? hand paint them onto canvass fabric? because they are soooo colorful and deserve to remain so~ <3
(uuhhhg i wish i didn't live in Florida now. i want to, like, give you money and have you make a plushie of something for me. i remember how cute that Toothless one was~! jfdsjkfhsd =A= )

Haha! I'll have to experiment. There are three ways I could do it: Embroider them, which is difficult on a lot of fabrics and takes forever, paint on canvas and then stitch on separately, or make them out of clay with paint and glaze for extra shine. X3 I'll be experimenting with these when I get the chance.

the clay one sounds the most difficult for attachment, in my opinion. the embroidery would look best, but you're right, it woulf take waaaay too long and might not look right if you mess up some of the stitches. but mehh, eventually you have to be familiar with all the techniques, i suppose, so do as you will. ^w^

(uhhg, i just miss EVERYONE. i'm homesick, and yet i have a new home now. but it's not the home i grew up in, so i be one sad kitsune. D: )

Yeah, I'd probably try to rig something with a hold to sew it in, or use glue or something. XD I just embroidered a face on a dog plus, and it doesn't look terrific. I might use the clay technique next time. C:

Well, she might be able to stand you if you didn't have a dog nearby haha. :3 She really dislikes people who only like dogs and not cats, but if you like both than she will try to tolerate you.

LOL Yes...she is very colorful! But the design works because her coat is limited to four colors repeated without and it's just her eyes that are extreme. X3 ....I just realized I forgot to erase the orange dot under nose and pad color. XD Her skin is blue, not both colors. I must fix that later. owo;
